School Football v Hull Collegiate

Year 7 and Year 8 were back in East Riding Cup action on Wednesday 11^th January.  After a lengthy lay off due to the dark evenings both teams hit the ground running.  Year 7 ran out comfortable 5-0 winners.  Liam Murray opened the scoring after the Collegiate keeper failed to take in a regulation catch.  Murray struck again before half time and completed a super hat trick just after half time.  Other scorers for Withernsea were Smith and Todd.  Year 8 found a tougher assignment in their opponents but ran out 3-1 winners thanks to goals from Cartledge, Littleproud and Sneddon.  Their was also time for Callum Eaton to miss a second half penalty but thankfully it was not an issue and both sides go through to the next round.
